Designer Time

Micheal Marcovici the artist behind the ‘One Billion Dollar‘ piece has unveiled his latest work titled ‘Rolex Time Sand’.

The sand is packed in 30 kg bags. Each bag’s content equals 30 days flowing in a standard hourglass. On the 18 pallets, there are 972 bags weighing 29 160 kg total, an amount of sand that would last for 81 years, which is our -generous- estimation of an average lifestime.

The image at the top represents the artist’s lifetime already consumed at 39 years.

One of Britains most well known secretive artist’s Banksy has struck again and thrown up a few stencil’s around Camden Town in London. These were struck up in Regents Canal.

They come along hot on the heels of the auction for one of his new prints titled ‘No Ball Games’. Featuring children playing with one of the most annoying sign’s seen around housing in the UK.

Kanye in Spike Jonze produced short film

Kanye West hooked up with Spike Jonze (director of ‘Were The Wild Thing Are‘ & Flashing Lights) to created this almost cryptic short film shot earlier this year and debuted @ the LAFF.

The movie was posted to his blog KanyeUniversity a few days ago and mysteriously taken down hours later with rumours circulating that it was meant to be sold on itunes.

Update: highsnobiety states they received official word that Pastelle will NEVER see the light of day, instead Kanye will launch a collection under his own name.

'Untitled' by Sheone

London based artist SHEONE will be exhibiting a collection of his work along side Bronx born artist CRASH in a Exhibition called Pop Crime at the Opus Gallery in Newcastle from the 7-31 of August.

SheOne is also known for his design work with British label Addict while CRASH honed his skills as part of the Bronx graffiti movement and turned his talents from painting murals on wall’s to canvas.
