After many rumours and false images, the true album artwork for Jay Z & Kanye West’s upcoming album ‘Watch The Throne’ has arrived.
Designed by Givenchy Creative Director Riccardo Tisci, it features no text, with a gilded surface boasting a symmetrical design filled with stars, leafs and crowns embossed on a metal sheet. It’s a similar design to the album art created for their [Kanye & Jay Z] single H.A.M. that referenced the Givenchy Menswear A/W 2011 collection that Kanye has been seen in lately.
The designer and this album seem a perfect match as Kanye has described the album as
“very dark and sexy – like couture hip hop”
The album comes out on August the 2nd.
